Ruth Jebet receives no. 2 world ranking by Track & Field News

The No. 2 position in the steeplechase for 2017 marks the third time that Ruth Jebet has been ranked in the world top-5 by Track & Field News (No. 1 in 2016, No. 5 in 2014).

Jebet’s top performance of the season was her world-leading steeplechase time of 8:55.29 set at the Zurich Diamond League meeting. Jebet also finished 5th in the steeplechase final at the IAAF World Championships in London.

The eight other Personae-managed athletes earning Top-10 world rankings for the ’17 season were Rose Chelimo (No. 3 – Marathon), Kipyegon Bett (No. 3 – 800m), Alice Aprot Nawowuna (No. 4 – 10000m), Celliphine Chespol (No. 5 – 3000m SC), Philip Milanov (No. 5 – Discus), Gesa Krause (No. 8 – 3000m SC). Nicholas Bett(No. 9 – 3000m SC), and Ferguson Rotich Cheruiyot (No. 10 – 800m).
