Milanov again collects Diamond League points with 3rd place in London

The London DL discus competition was extremely tight, with Philip Milanov‘s throw of 66.65m just missing the 66.66m mark by 2nd placer Fredick Dacres, while Daniel Stahl‘s winning toss was only 8 cm longer (66.73m).  Milanov’s only better throw this season of 67.05m (Stockholm) currently ranks him 4th on the discus world chart and he has now accumulated 20 points in four ’17 Diamond League discuss competitions, trailing only Stahl (23 points) and Dacres (22 points).  The last stop on this year’s Diamond League discuss circuit will take place at the Memorial Van Damme meeting in Brussels on 1. September.

Other recent Diamond League results of note by Personae-managed athletes include Kipyegon Bett‘s 2nd place and Ferguson Rotich‘s 3rd place at the Paris DL 800m (1:44.36 and 1:44.37, respectively), Celliphine Chespol‘s 3rd place and Ruth Jebet‘s 4th place at the Paris DL 3000m Steeplechase (9:07.54 and 9:10.95, respectively), and finally Caroline Chepkemoi‘s 6th place at the Lausanne DL Mile (4:27.79 PB).
